As a company that had never had a website, the goal was to establish a modern, clean, and user-friendly platform that stood out from the more traditional, dated websites of their competitors. The project involved creating a cohesive brand identity and a fully responsive website that would reflect Spindrift's expertise and professionalism in the yachting industry.

In this freelance project, I led the design efforts, collaborating closely with the developer. My responsibilities included designing the website layout in Figma and ensuring a smooth and engaging user experience.

To differentiate Spindrift Yacht Services from its competitors, I focused on a minimalist yet impactful design. I chose a clean layout with a modern color scheme, incorporating high-quality imagery and intuitive navigation. One challenge was creating a design that balanced elegance with functionality, which I addressed by prioritizing white space and ensuring that every design element served a clear purpose. The branding aimed to evoke a sense of sophistication and reliability, essential for the target audience in the yachting world.

Working closely with the developer, I ensured that the design translated seamlessly into code. We used regular check-ins and a shared Figma file to streamline our workflow, making real-time adjustments to optimize performance and design fidelity. Our collaboration allowed us to troubleshoot challenges efficiently, such as optimizing loading times for large, high-resolution images.

Although the website is set to go live mid November, the client has expressed excitement about the fresh, modern look and the intuitive user experience. The project reflects our commitment to creating a standout brand presence that feels both contemporary and accessible, setting Spindrift Yacht Services apart in a competitive industry.
